RIVER AND SEA CANOEING SCOTLAND – includes mini expedition – Argyll - July 2024
Experience some of Scotland’s classic rivers and sea lochs all with stunning scenery and wildlife.
As well as the freshwater Loch Eck being a short distance from our Centre, we have a great canoeing river right on our doorstep, the river Eachaig. Our experienced instructors will coach and prepare you for a number of expedition opportunities.
Join us for 5 days/4 nights at Benmore Outdoor Centre for an exciting opportunity to develop your skills as a canoeist and have the potential of gaining British Canoeing personal performance awards.
The course fee includes accommodation, food, instruction, use of canoes, paddles, buoyancy aids & helmets and expedition equipment*.
Course Aims:
- Develop your personal canoeing skills on both flat and moving water with coaching and support from Benmore instructors.
- journey in and learn how to help protect Scotland’s amazing natural landscapes.
- Learn how to become a more independent canoeist with skills in planning and completing a multi-day paddling river trip and Camp craft expedition skills.
- Potential of gaining British Canoeing personal performance awards

Previous experience:
- This course is open to anyone with good water confidence and some experience paddling canoes either on flat or moving water at a basic level and have a good level of fitness.
