"We stayed in Ptarmigan lodge over the Easter holidays as a small family group. Booking was easy and efficient, and the prices were much cheaper than expected. The lodges are ideally located near to Aviemore, 10 minute drive, but so quiet you could be in the middle of nowhere. The lodge was very clean and had recently been refurbished to a high standard including a wonderful suprise - a hot tub! The area is fabulous for all outdoor activies - some of which you can do on site if you pre-book. There are staff who live on site so although we didnt need for anything, it was great to know there was someone there all the time if required. Cant recommend highly enough, we will be back!"

"We stayed at the Hillend lodge for 3 nights over new year and had a wonderful time. Having staying in group accommodation before I came well equipped with my bin bags, soap and toilet roll to discover that these were all supplied. The rooms were of a great size and all decor looked fresh and clean. Excellent drying facilities in the drying room and a beautiful location. We are already thinking about when we can return! We had a mixture of 9 adults and 10 children, one in a travel cot, and we all had a comfortable stay. I have commented on the lack of fridge space- we were lucky that outside temperatures meant that supplies were stored outdoors but the staff assure me this will be reviewed, which I trust. Great stay."
