Our location is only minutes away from Sustrans Route 7 and within 8 miles of the mountain resort of Aviemore, Kingussie and Aviemore train station is on the main line between Edinburgh and Inverness, making it easy to bring your bike.

The Cairngorms area has immense scope for either the beginner or fanatical mountain biker. The dramatic landscape surrounding Lagganlia yields a rich assortment of trails from mellow forest tracks to exhilarating downhill trails. Mountain biking is an all-weather sport; fun in the sun and invigorating in the mud-splattered rain. Lagganlia is ideal for visitors who come to the area for walking holidays, or even for those who want to fill some time walking during their outdoor holiday. There are plenty of possibilities, including waymarked routes around the Lagganlia site, or further afield using Lagganlia as a starting point.

You can visit the Walking Highlands website, and we recommend Lower Glen Feshie and the Sculpture Trail a lovely varied walk, taking in the wood and stone sculptures of Frank Bruce as well as the banks of the Feshie and a forestry section with good views of the surrounding mountains.
