CYCLING AND WALKING
Scotland, and specifically the Cairngorms…Fantastic roads. Bizarrely, around Aviemore, which is low traffic by anyone’s standards, it’s all cycle paths, all properly joined up. So you see families there on holiday and the whole family go out because it’s appealing". Chris Boardman

CYCLING
The Cairngorms area has immense scope for either the beginner or fanatical mountain biker. The dramatic landscape surrounding Lagganlia yields a rich assortment of trails from mellow forest tracks to exhilarating downhill trails. Mountain biking is an all-weather sport; fun in the sun and invigorating in the mud-splattered rain. Ride beautiful single track in Inshriach and Glen Feshie which start and finish at Lagganlia Outdoor Centre. https://visitcairngorms.com/onabike
WALKING
Lagganlia is ideal for visitors who come to the area for walking holidays, or even for those who want to fill some time walking during their outdoor holiday. There are plenty of possibilities, including waymarked routes around the Lagganlia site, or further afield using Lagganlia as a starting point.
You can visit the Walking Highlands website, and we recommend Lower Glen Feshie and the Sculpture Trail a lovely varied walk, taking in the wood and stone sculptures of Frank Bruce as well as the banks of the Feshie and a forestry section with good views of the surrounding mountains.

ONSITE ACTIVITIES AT LAGGANLIA OUTDOOR CENTRE
To make the most of our natural woodland surroundings, we have created a selection of onsite activities, to embrace the outdoors and enhance your holiday.
All year round you can ski and snowboard, or even do a bit of donutting on our artificial snow sports slope.
Get to grips with our traverse climbing wall or ascend above the trees, to try our high ropes course- hat trick challenge.
If you are looking for something a little less adventurous, you can test your target skills at Archery or Frisbee Golf.
The fishermen amongst us can enjoy a days fishing on the River Feshie, then huddle around the campfire in our tipi tent.
Our rural setting provides access to some of the best walks, orienteering and biking that Badenoch and Strathspey have to offer.
