FISHING
"Catching fish is low on my agenda when I go fishing. I’m much more interested in savouring the day and exploring the wildlife of the river." Fennel Hudson, Author and fishing enthusiast.
HIGHLAND FISHING ON THE FESHIE AND SPEY RIVERS
The River Feshie is a tributary of the River Spey, rising in the countryside of the Glenfeshie Forest where Lagganlia Outdoor Centre is situated, making it the perfect location for a spot of fishing along its banks or on the River Spey itself.
There is a variety of fish in the upper Spey, including brown trout, sea trout and in the right condition, the occasional Salmon.
We can arrange complimentary fishing permits for guests to use in our own peaceful section of the River Feshie.
You will find more information on the River Feshie and Spey fishing by visiting: http://www.fishpal.com/Scotland/Spey/

ONSITE ACTIVITIES AT LAGGANLIA OUTDOOR CENTRE
To make the most of our natural woodland surroundings, we have created a selection of onsite activities, to embrace the outdoors and enhance your holiday.
All year round you can ski and snowboard, or even do a bit of donutting on our artificial snow sports slope.
Get to grips with our traverse climbing wall or ascend above the trees, to try our high ropes course- hat trick challenge.
If you are looking for something a little less adventurous, you can test your target skills at Archery or Frisbee Golf.
The fishermen amongst us can enjoy a days fishing on the River Feshie, then huddle around the campfire in our tipi tent.
Our rural setting provides access to some of the best walks, orienteering and biking that Badenoch and Strathspey have to offer.
